Monday marked the European launch of our Erasmus+ SUCCESS Training programme. The aim of the project was to create an online training package for guidance counsellors to support students making the transition from the school setting into the world of work. Through the creation of a training programme which combines Positive Psychology techniques with fundamental employability skills, SUCCESS aims to enhance an array of career related competencies and social skills in order to assist young people in achieving success as they enter the world of work.
The SUCCESS consortium began our research journey in September 2017 alongside partners in five different countries including: Vilnius University (Lithuania), GrantXpert Ltd (Cyprus), The Institute Development Ltd (Cyprus), Hellenic Association of Positive Psychology (Greece), and CESIE (Italy).
After two years and a number of fruitful meetings among the partner institutions, the training package was launched in Vilnius University at the SUCCESS Final Conference. Each partner presented their findings on the project and the tailored online educational platform designed to host the SUCCESS training materials was officially unveiled to a selection of relevant professionals and stakeholders from the field of school counselling in Lithuania.
The SUCCESS team is very proud of the outputs generated from our two-year collaboration and will continue to work diligently to refine the materials until the project’s end date of August 31st, 2019.
