We launched our QQI Accredited MA/PG Dip in Inclusive and Special Education with Hibernia College last summer. We are delighted to be welcoming our fourth cohort onto the programme in January 2024. This programme is designed to offer much needed support to educators working with children and young people with additional needs.
Hear from a Recent Graduate
We are very grateful to our recent graduate, Vera Shanahan, who gave her time to join us on our most recent webinar and tell us about her first-hand experience of the masters programme.
Vera is the Primary Education Officer with Educate Together. She has been working as a mainstream and special education teacher for over 10 years. She also has a Master’s in Positive Behaviour Management with Trinity College.
In this video, Vera highlights the flexibility, affordability and accessibility of this new online postgraduate programme. She has found that the content has the right mix of theory and practical knowledge and that the tutors are all experts and very helpful.
Vera also finds the virtual learning environment (VLE) very easy to use and loves the library with the hyperlinks embedded in the reading list! The Hibernia College cohort app for students works like WhatsApp and has been great for keeping in touch with her fellow students.
