It’s been a busy few months for our MA/ PG Diploma in Inclusive and Special Education, which we run in partnership with Hibernia College! We were delighted to welcome our third cohort onto the programme in September 2023 and had the pleasure of meeting the new participants at the induction day in Maynooth.

This new programme was officially validated by QQI and launched in July 2022 and has grown in numbers over the last 15 months.
The course aim is to empower early years, primary, post-primary and special education teachers with the knowledge, skills, values and competencies to provide an inclusive and quality education for all. This part-time, flexible online programme comprises four taught modules (15 ECTS each) and a research and thesis component (30 ECTS) for the Masters. It is set up to flexible, agile, and individualised allowing participants to tailor the modules to their own professional specialisation, research areas and personal interests.
We had an exciting start to October as the first group of students finished the PG Diploma and are getting ready to graduate on 5th December. We are looking forward to meeting this inaugural cohort and congratulating them in person at the graduation next month!
