Our University courses are commencing today, both the Masters in Special & Additional Learning Needs (University of East London) and the Postgraduate Diploma/ Cert in Special and Inclusive Education (DCU). We’d like to extend a very warm welcome to all of our new students. We wish you every success and we look forward to accompanying you on your online journey this year!
We were delighted to meet so many of the Diploma/ Cert students at an induction day in DCU last Saturday. Together with our colleagues in DCU, we introduced the programme and provided advice on writing skills and eLearning. We pride ourselves in building relationships with our students and our excellent online support is something students can expect throughout their journey with us.
It was interesting to meet a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, including primary, post-primary and also further education. The reasons for doing the course are varied but this year it was great to hear that there is a lot of support from students’ schools and principals. We also wish to the best to our students who are logging on from abroad, including those in the UAE!
