With a Master of Education degree specializing in dyslexia, Shannon is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of special educational needs, and is Head of Learning Support in a senior school on the West Coast of Canada. Among her interests are the early identification of learning difficulties and effective interventions for teaching reading and developing executive functioning skills.
